Peer Mentoring

Sixth Form students have the opportunity to be trained to deliver a 6 week week programme of peer mentoring to younger pupils.

Josh (Year 12): I became a peer mentor to give back to a school that has provided me with so much support throughout my time
here whether that be from older students in workshops or from teachers in designated sessions.
It is a simple programme tailored to the individual to better their chances of success in school and it has proven to work so far throughout weekly sessions. The programme has been a wonderful experience to pass on my knowledge and advice to a student who may not have had mentoring support before throughout school. Overall, the peer mentoring programme sums up the compassionate nature we value here at AGS as well as developing the future minds of our world.
