Meet our students

Our students are our passion. They continually tell us year after year that they love our school and value our diversity.

When we asked them why somebody should work here this is what they told us:

MOHAMMED – YEAR 10
“Because the staff and students are really great.”
ISMAL – YEAR 13
“Students get a great education. Everyone is very friendly and makes lots of friends. We are hardworking; we strive for good grades and everyone is very welcoming.“
ANNIE – YEAR 7
“We have a wide range of lessons and after school activities. The building is great because it makes us feel safe and creates a community feeling. Our school is diverse and everybody is accepted. Everyone helps each other. We are a lovely school and you would enjoy teaching us.”
TARANAH – YEAR 8
“Our school is very unique. Students are committed to work and, even though we are a very diverse school, we all get along.”
FIN – YEAR 9
“Because the staff are kind and welcoming, just like the students.”
TYRONE – YEAR 11
“When I first started at Allerton Grange, the SEN staff were so nice to accept me and they helped me settle into my lessons. They got me kick-started in what I had to do and get my head down ready for my GCSEs. They make me feel wanted, loved, calm and safe - and all of this from one special team.”
CARA – YEAR 10
“I think this school is more culturally diverse than other schools; you actually get to learn about every faith, which is useful because learning more about others backgrounds is really intriguing. We also have great facilities available compared to other schools. I love our big community.”
RACHEL – SEND STUDENT
“I don’t know whether I would still be in this school without the help of the staff and teaching assistants. The teaching assistants and support staff really help me out massively and I really get on with them. It’s always helpful when they’re there and I can speak to them about anything. They’re always there when you need them and you can bond with them really easily. They’re really helpful and just amazing. I get on with them so well and always can have a laugh with them. They help me to do my work and not to get distracted or lose my temper. I love them all and I’ll be sad to say goodbye when I leave for college.”
