Training and Development

As a new member of staff, adapting to a new work environment can take a little time but we will offer you support and guidance to help to settle you into to your new role as quickly and comfortably as possible.

All new staff are encouraged to spend a day with us prior to starting their post. You will be booked onto our school welcome session shortly after your employment begins.

Human resources

We believe in supporting our staff at work and providing a range of support services available to everyone who works for us.

Our own in-house dedicated HR team ensures you always have someone to contact should you require any help or support. If you have general queries about holiday entitlement, pensions, staff benefits or salaries, our handbook has lots of helpful information. Our employee support services include well-being and counselling courses which are completely confidential. We also have quiet working areas and a multi-faith room for staff to access.

Training and Development

We are passionate about investing in our staff and will support your participation in internal coaching and training and attending external courses.

SKILLED SUPPORT STAFF

Many of our support staff roles are supported through bespoke in-house on the job training. We have a dedicated budget to support a variety of external courses in areas such as safeguarding, administration and health and safety.

Staff aspiring to supervise, manage and lead are able to access mentoring and coaching from experienced staff. We look to recruit staff who are passionate about their own continuous professional development.
