The Year 8 PE curriculum is a progression from the Year 7 programme with more time spent on developing individual skills and tactical awareness in the activities. Schemes of learning will continue to focus on a rotation of:

• Outdoor team games

• Indoor individual sports (including badminton and table tennis)

• Trampolining

• Dance

• Health and fitness (using the fitness suite)

In the summer term, students will be taught athletics and striking and fielding games.
