Allerton Grange School celebrates another year of excellent A-level outcomes
13th Aug 2026
Allerton Grange School is delighted to celebrate another year of excellent A-level outcomes, with students achieving particularly strong results at the highest grades.
The school is proud to have a third of all students securing A–A* grades and 6 students attaining only grades A-A*. This reflects their hard work, determination and commitment, alongside the dedication of their teachers and the strong support of families.
The school is also pleased with its strong Average Point Score (APS) of 31.3, demonstrating the consistently high quality of outcomes across the Sixth Form and the breadth of students’ achievements.
Headteacher Andy Norrington said: “We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have achieved. These results reflect not only their academic ability, but also their resilience, ambition and commitment throughout their time at Allerton Grange. We would like to congratulate every student and thank our staff and families for the support that has helped make these outcomes possible.”
The results represent an excellent platform for students as they progress to university, apprenticeships, employment and the next stages of their education and careers.
Allerton Grange students will be studying at a range of universities including Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Durham, Glasgow, Huddersfield, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Loughborough, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Warwick and York. Popular courses this year include Aerospace Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Pharmacy, Maths, Chemistry, Politics, Business Accounting, Digital Media and Law. The whole school community looks forward to celebrating their successes and seeing all that they go on to achieve.
