Hot Chocolate Fridays

Students nominated by their Year teams have met with Mr Roper in the return of a popular reward incentive, Hot Chocolate Fridays, which was introduced last year. The Headteacher meets with students personally, in a joint meeting in his office each Friday, to find out more about how they have succeeded in embracing our school values and going the extra mile.

Allerton Grange has a policy for positive discipline which focuses on rewarding good behaviour. It is embedded into school life through stamps in planners, achievement points and reward assemblies.

Well done to the following students:

This week we are celebrating the achievements of students from Year 7 to Year 13.

Maya Manota in Year 7 has been incredibly dedicated in RS, giving thoughtful and persuasive arguments on a range of topics.

In Year 8, Yousef Abouzeid has made extremely great progress in food technology and he is much more positive about his practical lessons.

From Year 9 Henry Crozier has been recognised for his school contributions and overall positive attitude.

Joe Greer has been recognised for being a member of the successful Year 10 Maths Challenge Team.

Year 11 student Samiya Anjam has been working very hard, has been accessing online revision material and staff have commented on how focused she is.

Jas Sanghera in Year 12 is a hardworking and committed learner. Her hard work and focus has led to her achieving well in both Sociology and Law.

In Year 13, Wagmagul Ayaz is hardworking, conscientious, always asks questions and seeks support when she needs it.
