Hot Chocolate Fridays
Students nominated by their Year teams have met with Mr Roper in the return of a popular reward incentive, Hot Chocolate Fridays, which was introduced last year. The Headteacher meets with students personally, in a joint meeting in his office each Friday, to find out more about how they have succeeded in embracing our school values and going the extra mile.
Allerton Grange has a policy for positive discipline which focuses on rewarding good behaviour. It is embedded into school life through stamps in planners, achievement points and reward assemblies.
Well done to the following students:
This week we are celebrating the achievements of students from all year groups, with the exception of Years 11 and 13 due to exams.
Billy P in Year 7, was recognised for being a Lead Learner and an Exemplary Student. Billy has yet to receive a behaviour point and has notched up an inspirational number of achievement points. Well done, Billy!
In Year 8, Thomas P has made a real effort to improve his attitude to learning in lessons over the past few weeks. He is receiving very few behaviour points and is acting in a far more mature manner. Well done, Thomas!
From Year 9, Megan K has been nominated for being a positive role model for other students, both in and out of the classroom. She is respectful and kind to staff and students, especially with vulnerable or new pupils.
Year 10 student Nadia A was recognised for her respect and kindness as she has been helping and looking after another student.
In Year 12, Ikra E was nominated for being a very conscientious learner who is always prepared, on time and actively engaged in all lessons.
