Hot Chocolate Fridays

Students nominated by their Year Teams have met with Mr Roper in the return of a popular reward incentive, Hot Chocolate Fridays. The Headteacher meets with students personally, in a joint meeting in his office each Friday, to find out more about how they have succeeded in embracing our school values and going the extra mile.

Allerton Grange has a policy for positive discipline which focuses on rewarding good behaviour. It is embedded into school life through stamps in planners, achievement points and reward assemblies.

Well done to the following students:

Amina in Year 7 has been nominated by Mr Jenner for being a fantastic and supportive member of the form.

In Year 8, Laiba has improved her behaviour so much, with fewer behaviour points this half term and teachers commenting on her change in behaviour and attitude. She is also working hard at home.

Poppy from Year 9 is our very own Greta Thunberg! As well as speaking at climate change rallies in Leeds, Poppy is currently involved in a fundraising project for Australia.

Teigan joined Year 10 after Christmas and has settled in really well. She has made some good friends, tries her hardest in lessons and is always very polite and respectful.

In Year 11, Abdullah received the Most Improved Award at the last Rewards Assembly as he has improved his behaviour and attitude since Year 10.
