Hot Chocolate Fridays

Students nominated by their Year teams have met with Mr Roper in the return of a popular reward incentive, Hot Chocolate Fridays, which was introduced last year. The Headteacher meets with students personally, in a joint meeting in his office each Friday, to find out more about how they have succeeded in embracing our school values and going the extra mile.

Allerton Grange has a policy for positive discipline which focuses on rewarding good behaviour. It is embedded into school life through stamps in planners, achievement points and reward assemblies.

Well done to the following students:

Halima Akhtar, in Year 7, was recognised for being bright and bubbly around school, cheering up her friends and for being helpful to staff.

From Year 8, Manvinder Dev has been highlighted as an outstanding member of the school council, youth parliament and school community as a whole.

Sahil Hussain, a Year 9 student, was nominated by Miss Barlow for having a fantastic focus in Religious Studies.

Year 10 student, Amirah Sadique, has made great improvements in lessons and her attitude to members of staff and around school is brilliant at the moment.

Bevan Tanda, Year 11 student, has developed a really mature and committed approach to lessons and has been working hard on his English and Spanish.
