Hot Chocolate Fridays

Students nominated by their Year teams have met with Mr Roper in the return of a popular reward incentive, Hot Chocolate Fridays, which was introduced last year. The Headteacher meets with students personally, in a joint meeting in his office each Friday, to find out more about how they have succeeded in embracing our school values and going the extra mile.

Allerton Grange has a policy for positive discipline which focuses on rewarding good behaviour. It is embedded into school life through stamps in planners, achievement points and reward assemblies.

Well done to the following students:

This week students were nominated for for working hard on the Summer Musical and for supporting the Primary Maths Challenge.

James S, Ellida E, Hana I, Pippa G, Sara B, Ella O, Gurman D, all from Year 7, Lola J and Iman M from Year 9 and Isabel S from Year 10 were nominated by Mr Hasselgreen for working exceptionally hard directing dances, sometimes coming in at 8 am for Hairspray.

Daniel S, Manvinder D and Sana A from Year 8 were nominated by Mr Sumroy for supporting a successful Primary Maths Challenge last Friday. It was an excellent atmosphere and all the students were really impressive in terms of their knowledge and resilience.
