Hot Chocolate Fridays
Students nominated by their Year teams have met with Mr Roper in the return of a popular reward incentive, Hot Chocolate Fridays, which was introduced last year. The Headteacher meets with students personally, in a joint meeting in his office each Friday, to find out more about how they have succeeded in embracing our school values and going the extra mile.
Allerton Grange has a policy for positive discipline which focuses on rewarding good behaviour. It is embedded into school life through stamps in planners, achievement points and reward assemblies.
Well done to the following students:
In Year 7, Amelie McNiven was nominated for having a great attitude and understanding of RS and drama, and for her outstanding contribution to the school production.
Adiba Ahmed in Year 8 has made fantastic steps with her behaviour this half term. She is trying to avoid disruptive influences and is eager to show her best side to staff.
Year 9 student, Benjamin Turner is maturing really well and his behaviour has improved dramatically. Well done, Benjamin.
In Year 10, Kieanna Rey Clarke has had an astounding work ethic lately. She was focused in the lead up to the GCSE exam a couple of weeks ago and has independently produced some astonishing work for her marketing project.
Maurizio Tokro in Year 11 has worked so hard in English this half term and has put in extra effort, carrying on writing into break time.
