Usually, the Sixth Form Team would welcome parents and carers and prospective students in person to our Sixth Form Open Evening. This year we are bringing our school to you!

We know that moving on from secondary school to post-16 education is a big decision, as the choices you make will have an impact on your future.

It’s an exciting time to join Allerton Grange Sixth Form!

From September 2021, students will have their own Sixth Form Centre offering a range of facilities including social spaces, classrooms, workspaces and computer suites. Phase 1 of the development is already complete, with the refurbishment of the former CLC building within our grounds, and Sixth Form students are already settling in. Phase 2 will add an extension to the building with additional classrooms and facilities. You can find out more about the development here.

Whether you choose to study A levels or a vocational course, you will benefit from smaller class sizes, high quality teaching, a supportive environment with a range of enrichment opportunities and careers guidance. The move to a Sixth Form Centre will also give you greater independence, in your own space, separate to the rest of the school.

Allerton Grange is currently ranked 1st for Applied Level 3 subjects and 9th for A level progress out of 68 post-16 providers in Leeds.

Our aspirational enrichment programme is a critical cornerstone of life at Allerton Grange as we believe that education and growth isn’t just limited to classrooms. All students are expected to participate in our extra-curricular and enrichment programme in order to widen their experiences, develop their talents and grow as individuals. This is especially important for Sixth Form students as they prepare for their next steps to university, an apprenticeship or the workplace.
