Sixth Form Induction
Being a Sixth Form student brings increased independence and you have more freedom to study independently outside of timetabled sessions. The Sixth Form Team is there every step of the way to help you to adjust to life in Year 12.
At the start of Year 12 you will enrol and attend induction sessions to help you to settle in. You and your parents/carers will also be invited to attend a Welcome Event with the Sixth Form Team.
We operate an open-door policy and you can pop in for a chat about life in sixth form, careers or anything else. If we aren’t around when you want us, make an appointment via Mrs Gillibrand in the Sixth Form office or send us an email.
You will be assigned a Personal Tutor who is responsible for monitoring conduct, academic progress and personal wellbeing of a group of students in their Tutor Group. You will have Tutor time every morning so your Personal Tutor will often be the first point of contact for any questions you have.
