Coronavirus Guidance
Allerton Grange takes the health of its students and staff very seriously.
Public Health England has confirmed the risk level to individuals from Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been raised to high.
Currently, the UK Chief Medical Officers are advising that you should stay at home for 10 days if you have any of the following:
- a new continuous cough - this means you have started coughing repeatedly
- a high temperature (37.8 degrees and above)
- a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell
If another member of your household has symptoms, the advice is for everyone living in the household to stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person had symptoms.
This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious.
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
