Partnership Links
Allerton Grange School is proud to be in partnership with both the White Rose Alliance (WRA) and School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT), supporting the next generation on their journey to become qualified teachers. We host trainee placements for both organisations whose courses follow a school-based route into teaching.
Allerton Grange School has also hosted full day training sessions for students who are part of WRA and SCITT and on placements in schools across the North East. The Allerton Grange School Experience Days focus on diversity and inclusion in secondary education settings.

Investors in Pupils
As a school, we offer exceptionally many leadership roles for students. We have lead learners in all years 7-11, most subject areas have ambassadors and we have a strong and active student council. Due to the impact of student leadership, we are seeking to get Investors In Pupils status.
Investors in Pupils is a simple concept that builds on the principles of Investors in People, to empower all pupils, increase motivation and contribute to raising achievement across the Key Stages. The award is non-profit making using any revenue to further support development of the award.
