Year 11 Rugby League Success

Our Year 11 boys’ Rugby League team represented Allerton Grange last week at the Leeds and Hunslet Schools Plate and will progress to the Leeds and Hunslet Schools playoffs.

They played a series of matches, beating both Temple Moor High School and Crawshaw Academy 2:0 and drawing 2:2 with Bishop Young Academy.

Mr Mahoney, Year 11 Progress and Welfare Coach accompanied the team to the matches and was delighted with the result. He said “the boys were outstanding from the moment we got there right up until the end. The rugby they played was immense and their behaviour impeccable. They showed great character off and on the field. Credit to themselves and to the school.”

If you would like to support the team, the next stage is the Leeds and Hunslet playoffs on 8th November 2018 at Stanningley Rugby Club, Arthur Miller Stadium, Coal Hill Drive, Leeds LS13 1PA.
