September 2020 Reopening
We will be doing everything we can to help students and staff with the return to Allerton Grange in September.
If you haven't already done so, please read the Risk Assessment to familiarise yourself with the adjustments that will be in place for everyone's safety. Students will be in year group bubbles, based in separate areas of school and will remain in their year groups for break times. A one-way system will be operating within school, with increased hand washing and the use of hand sanitiser for all. Although different year groups will now use different entrances into the school building, all students are free to enter the school site via either Talbot Avenue or Lidgett Lane. They will then be directed by staff.
Staff and students will be permitted to wear surgical or plain fabric face coverings on corridors, during break and lunchtime, and as they enter and leave the school site - please see Coronavirus Update Face Coverings.
Reopening information was shared with parents in the End of Year letter from Mr Roper. Please re-read this to familiarise yourself with the adjustments that have been put in place.
We will provide updates if and when government advice changes.
The school office has been closed during the summer holidays and the team will respond to your emails and enquiries once school reopens. Monday 7 September 2020 is a staff training day and students begin to return from Tuesday 8 September.
School opens for students on:
Tuesday 8 September 2020 - Year 7 (Transition Day) (Transition Information available here) and Year 12 induction (Sixth Form Enrolment information available here)
