Students Run for Comic Relief
This year, Allerton Grange School supported Red Nose Day 2019 by getting moving.
Students from years 7, 8 and 9 took part in sponsored PE sessions running, walking or in some cases skipping for at least a mile.
Chiamaka and Shreya from Year 9 said: “We are running to help people with deadly diseases like malaria”.
Harry from Year 7 said: “Running for fun is great but running for charity is amazing”.
Two girls from Year 7, Skylar and Eve, also raised £50 for Comic Relief by running a bake sale outside their houses over the weekend and added this to the money collected by the PE Team.
The total raised was in excess of £600.
