GCSE Results Day
Everyone at Allerton Grange is delighted that the government has made the decision to award the Centre Assessed Grades as the final grades for all A Level, GCSE and vocational qualifications. We know the amount of time and diligence that teachers put into calculating these grades – we know they are fair and accurate. We also know that all students, regardless of ability or background, will now get the grades they deserve.
This morning we celebrated with students and families who collected their GCSE grades – we are so proud that their hard work, dedication and resilience has been rewarded. They can now take these grades and progress with pride onto the next stage of their life. The majority of students will stay at Allerton Grange to embark upon their A level programme and we look forward to welcoming those students back, as Sixth Formers, in September.
Mike Roper, Headteacher, said "I am extremely proud of our students and how they have adapted this year. This cohort of students achieved 66 grade 9s and 29 students achieved at least one of the highest grades. Well done to all. I look forward to seeing lots of you back at Allerton Grange in September to start your Sixth Form studies"
