AGS Has Got Talent
Allerton Grange students once again impressed the judges and the audience at the annual AGS Has Got Talent Show.
There were a range of talents showcased spanning comedy from The Potter People (Sara B, Hana I, Gurman D, Ella O, Ellida E, Lewis A-S, Maya M), various styles of dance from Bollywood (Saleem Z) to contemporary (Megan G, Nuala H, Alaia L-H) and soloists (Kitty O, Pippa G), four-piece band Locked (Emily D, Mia H, Hannah G, Jess B) and acoustic duo Niamh J and Krishna S.
The judges, Mr Roper (Headteacher), Mrs Harris (Attendance Manager), Niall Murray-Sharpe (Sixth Form Student) and special guest judge Marsha Witter (Learning & Apprenticeships Manager, Burberry) had a difficult task choosing the winning act.
This year’s winner was James S, from Year 7, who performed an original anti-knife crime rap he’d composed himself.
Runners up were: Ellie A and Jacob W with their musical theatre performance and Pequenas Mentes’ (Holly C, Morven A, Simmy R) dance performance.
