A Level Results Success

Allerton Grange School students were celebrating exam success on Thursday 15 August.

Our A Level results have continued to rise with the vast majority of subjects performing better than in 2018, particularly Geography, Criminology and Law.

The strongest outcomes were in A Level English Literature, English Language, Geography, History, Fine Art, Photography, ICT, Law, Sociology, Criminology.

The majority of Year 13 students are progressing to Higher Education, with the number of Allerton Grange students offered places on courses at Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities increasing this year.

We spoke to a number of students when they collected their results:

• Rosa achieved AAAA and will be studying Linguistics and Sociology at the University of Manchester.
• Niall achieved AABA and will be studying History at the University of Sheffield.
• George achieved AAA and will be going to the University of York to study English Literature.
• Qais achieved AAA and will be studying Chemistry at the University of Leeds.

• Rebecca achieved BBB and will be studying Geography, Sociology and Politics (Combined Honours) at the University of Newcastle.
• Aqila will be studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Leeds.
